Searching for Truth

As we live out our individual lives through the passage of time, we often find ourselves asking questions about the truth of God, the purpose of our lives, is there truly life after death and is what we are experiencing now the sum total of life? Preachers, priests of various religions, philosophers, wise men and sages through out man's history have had various answers to these questions. But what is the truth? Pilate asked this very question as we read in John 19:37, 38 when Jesus himself claimed he came "to bear witness to the truth".
